A sour story turned good when the Nigerian Army met Chijioke Uraku, the disabled man who was publicly assaulted in Onitsha for putting on an army camouflage.
There are indications the army offered an unreserved apology for the inhuman treatment and offered him cash and gift items.
It is interesting to note that the Nigerian Army has taken disciplinary action against the soldiers involved. A good move I must say.
